Dangerous yet Charming Vampire - Chapter 2

She never thought she would have insomnia one day! She has always regarded sleep as the first important thing in her life, and she has never sacrificed her sleep for the sake of K-books during her study days, but she also had a day of insomnia, and it was also for the sake of a damned man.
For Keith Morgan, that fucking vampire!
Last night she tossed and turned in bed, her mind has been circling yesterday’s scene, like a nightmare lingering, I can not imagine that they are actually vampires Yea!MyGod!, and she even blatantly in front of them to transform non-walking, she has never …… never transformed in front of others! She did not want others to treat her as a monster ……
Give up the case for the project! She couldn’t be in front of him anymore, she didn’t want to see him looking at her like she was a monster, and at that moment Ria forgot that she was a vampire.
“Heart.” A voice interrupted her thoughts, Riaxin turned around and looked at a male coworker sitting across from her, called …… called …… Fang Mo, I think! When a coworker when more than two years, she still did not remember the name of a colleague, she has always been not too agreeable to remember that kind of thing.
“Something wrong?” She smiled politely at him, her head still aching from last night’s insomnia.
“The manager is looking for you.” Fang Mo simply spat out these words and went back to burying his head in his work.
Probably for that Case! Well, it’s time for her to talk to the manager. Xu HaoLing, the one who had worked so hard on this project, maybe it would be better for him to talk about this case, and she would just go to the side and go on vacation, she didn’t want to touch this project with the Morgan’s again.
Arriving at the door to the manager’s office, Ria-Shin knocked twice.
“Come in.”
She opened the door and entered, “Is it you who is looking for me?” As soon as Wing Sum entered she saw Xu Hao Ling standing in the doorway greeting her with a smile on his face, as well as another unexpected visitor sitting on the couch – Yadi, the vampire who had chased her that day.
Her face sank, why was he here?
“Ria-Shin, let me introduce you to Mr. Yadi Gikos, the famous oil tycoon of Saudi Arabia.”
“I’ve heard a lot about you, Mr. Yardie.” She graciously extended her hand to shake his, without the slightest hint of fear.
Since they have run into it, they have to face it bravely, and running away instead becomes a weakling, and running away before they find them is only a way to avoid the wind, and if they are found and then run away again, it will make them become a rat in the street and everyone will shout at them.
“‘Long time no see’, Ms. Han.” Yadi extends his hand as well, and looks at her with an ulterior motive – we’re not letting you off the hook. His eyes seemed to indicate so.
That’s your family’s business! She glared back nonchalantly.
“Do you two know each other?” Xu Hao Ling also seemed to smell the unusual smell of gunpowder between the two.
“We don’t know each other!” Once again, “Eyebrows” to Yadi – don’t you dare say look.
“We are not acquainted.” Yadi smiled knowingly, but his next words were enough to teach her to spit blood in her mouth, “But she is acquainted with our master, and there are some things she has yet to ‘explain’ to him as well.”
“Master? Is that Mr. Keith Morgan?” Someone spoke up quite insensitively, as if they hadn’t seen Riakshin’s murderous stare.
“Yes.” Yadi grinned, and he too received a murderous glare from Riaoshin.
“I have nothing to do with him!” Riaxin couldn’t stand it and yelled out, not taking into account that she was yelling at her big boss who controlled her life and death.” I’ve never had anything to do with that dead man’s face, not before, and even less now, and I’m warning you that you’d better stop discussing this topic or I’ll break your neck off and use it as a chair!” She warned in a vicious voice.
In the end, Ria Xin took out the kraft paper bag from her purse and threw it down fiercely towards the table. ”This Tsubaki Morgan’s Case is not going to be done by this lady, just go find someone else. I’m going to take a vacation now, two months off, you don’t want to ask me to touch this Tsubaki damn case again, even if you give me more year-end bonus.” After she finished speaking, Wing Sum gave the two men present a murderous stare before she threw the door open and left.
“Why do women always talk in growls these days? So unamusing.” Xu Hao Ling looked at the distant back and couldn’t help but shake his head with emotion.
“Woohoo! I finally found you!” A small figure hugged Riajin from behind, causing her to almost fall.
“Ha! I finally found you, God knows how big this company is, you’re so hard to find!” Liz pulled her close, not caring about her hardened face and the strange stares of the others, because she was used to the amazing stares.
Pulling Riaxin out onto the sidewalk outside the office, Two Deadly Pleasure spoke endlessly to Riaxin, talking to herself of course, the sunlight shining on her golden curls as brightly and dazzlingly as the golden gold in the light.
“Ah… after talking to you for so long, I can’t believe I forgot to introduce myself.” Liz tapped her little head, “I’m Liz Morgan, and you are?” She graciously extended her hand.
“Han Wing-Sum.” She held out her hand in embarrassment.
“Surprised?” Rei died with a sweet, toothy grin, as if she’d known what she was going to think.
“It was a bit of a surprise.” Riaoshin nodded without denying it, then suddenly exclaimed as if she had discovered a continent first, “Where are the fangs? Fangs, where are your fangs, you didn’t have fangs when you showed your teeth and smiled just now ……” The next words were blocked by a small hand.
“Shhh! Shhh-” Liz placed her index finger lightly on her cherry lips, “Keep it down, you want the whole world to know I’m a vampire?” Scanning her beautiful eyes around until she was sure no one had noticed their conversation, Liz pulled her towards the tree on the sidewalk and said, “Next time be careful, don’t be so loud, whisper anything, don’t be so loud and flamboyant.”
Riaoxin nodded meekly, not daring to deny it at all.
“Actually, the fangs shrinking freely is an instinct of the ‘Morgan’ family of vampires!” Liz whispered revealing the answer.
“What about when you walk in the sunlight?” Winged Heart posed another question, she too had seen Keith Morgan and Yadi blatantly moving about in the sunlight.
“Instinct!” Liz replied matter-of-factly.
“But ……,” Winged Heart wanted to say something else.
“Ugh! You really have a lot of questions! If you have questions, I’ll take you to ask Yadi, he’s a veteran, so he’ll know better.”
“Come on! Let’s go find Yadi, I’ve been out for so long, Yadi must be worried to death, we have to go find him quickly.” Said said, Liz really pulled her towards the direction of “Xu’s”.
Just kidding! Is there any fun in that? No, no way! Winged Heart looked desperately for any object she could grab and attach, vowing to hold onto it so that Liz wouldn’t be dragged off to be skinned by Yadi.
“Let go of me, don’t pull me!” She slapped Liz’s palm away from her and grabbed the sidewalk chair with her other hand.
“It’s not like he’s going to eat you.” Liz reached over again in amusement.
That’s not going to eat you! Riaxin stared at Liz with grudges in her eyes, wondering if Liz had forgotten the day she was chased by Yadi, just thinking about that day made her feel wrong all over her body, as well as the day she was grabbed by Keith Morgan’s wrists, which had long been bruised by now, the brute strength of these people was terrifying!
“Ah! Yardie’s out, over there!” Winged Heart called out in a flash of inspiration.
“Where?” Liz turned her head.
With a hard struggle, Liz was pulled to the ground, and Ria turned and ran.
“Are you okay, Liz.” Ardy came out of nowhere to help Liz up, his eyes glaring deathly at Riaoshin’s fleeing back.
“Don’t look, the man’s long gone.” Liz rubbed her sore ass, her little face twisted into a ball, “That hurts! She’s got a really strong hand! Yadi, are you sure she’s really a companion?”
“Ironically.” Yadi nodded, watching with pained eyes as his young lover frowned and cried out in pain.
“She better be, or I’m going to be really pissed off.” She grudgingly stood up and glared at Riaxin’s fleeing figure as well, “That’s it for me, I’ll leave the rest to Keith!”
Was this suite really a woman’s room? Keith’s entire brow furrowed as he walked into the small suite of about ten square feet.
Chaos! Messy! It’s a mess, worse than a kennel! What does this stupid woman know about organizing? How could she make such a mess in a nice house? Aren’t the Chinese always the most virtuous people? How could there be such a “mutant” type of woman? She doesn’t even know how to organize her own room.
Stupid! This woman’s name is Stupid.
Kicking away the piles of clothes at his feet, Keith bent down and began to clean everything up for her.
There is nothing more pleasurable than burrowing back into your nest.
Insert the key with a small cat’s eye stone into the lock and the door opens with a click.
Upon realizing that everything was wrong, it was her she realized that she couldn’t step on the clothes that she usually left on the floor, and she looked up in shock to see a man sitting on top of the couch.
“I’m sorry …… I ……” Riaxin was about to immediately snatch the door and run out of the room, but instead she saw something familiar on the door panel – her Little Mermaid poster.
Wait, there’s nothing wrong with this being her house!
Men? Where did she get a man in her house? She obviously lives alone by herself ……
“Ugh…” she sighed, resigning herself to a fateful walk to sit on the couch facing him.” What can I do for you?” She gave him a look that said, God knows what she had gotten herself into today, netting her some vampire.
“I’m going to ask something.” Keith smiled faintly, his gaze like a cheetah staring at its prey.
“I won’t say anything about what I saw that day.” She hastily affirmed, lest she be killed and silenced.
“It’s not like I’m afraid to tell you!” He glared at her fiercely, dissatisfied that she was so afraid.” Fuck, don’t give me that pitying look, it’s not like I’m going to eat you, would it kill you to ask you a few questions?”
Ria frowned, she never liked it when people were too mean to her.” I’ll let you ask.” Just ask the question, why are you so mean?
“Why are you able to shapeshift? As far as I know vampires don’t seem to be yellow, especially ones with the last name Morgan.” He had no problem asking the question in his mind.
“Uh ……” she froze, simply do not know how to answer good, should answer him the correct answer? Or refuse to answer him, what kind of intention is he to ask her this question, if he sells her to scientists for experimentation ……
“We’re companions.” Seeing her hesitation, Keith spat out the words faintly, meaning – think less of the worst! Stupid woman.
“Companion ……” Winged Heart murmured, repeating the words, considering whether to believe him or not.” What if …… what if …… ugh! It’s just assuming like la! …… such as …… if I really am your companion then what do you …… what do you want ……” She swallowed a several mouthfuls of saliva and finally managed to spit out the words.
He raised his right eyebrow and voiced some comment on her words, “Don’t be a bunch of what ifs, assumptions, and such! You were already a companion! Show me some more wordplay around there.” Standard threatening tone.
“But ……,” Winged Heart tried to plead something more.
“Don’t be butting in there, answers! I just want your answers! Don’t give me a bunch of yes and no questions there!” He yelled out.
This man is so mean! Ria Xin looked at him with a grudging look in her eyes, getting more and more dissatisfied with his attitude. Just say it! He’s so mean!
“I’m one-sixteenth English.” She took a deep breath and spat out a piece of her past that she hadn’t confided in outsiders, “I’m an orphan and my parents died when I was ten.”
“I always thought that I was no different from the rest of the world; my parents died, but they left me a large inheritance, which enabled me to feed and clothe myself, and in some ways I think I was a lot better off than the kids in my situation. When I was eleven years old, I accidentally fell off a tall building sometime, the house was seven stories high, I had thought I would die and get to go and be with my dad and mom, but I didn’t, the moment I fell down, I realized that my body was rapidly metamorphosing, and what ended up flying, I became a bat, and that’s the first time I realized that I was different from everyone else.”
He nodded and continued to be a good listener.
“I realized that I was different from everyone else in a lot of ways, and some of those traits were like …… like Legendary vampires. So I climbed up into a warehouse on the roof to look for an ancestor tree, and finally found a name there – Winifredo Nylen, a woman of English origin, my ancestor.” Wingheart paused, as if pondering something, “It was written there that she died by crucifixion by an unknown priest, I suppose it was written down because it was a rather unusual death.” She exhaled deeply, the secret that had been deep in her heart for many years finally coming out.
“So …… you inherited her blood?”
“Probably!” Ria-Shin shrugged, “You know everything, time to get lost, right?” The first thing she did when she recovered from the sentimentality of earlier was to blast someone.
“Go?” Keith laughed, surprised at her erratic behavior.” Won’t you be sad to see your companion go?”
“No.” She tilted her head away from him.
“You pack your bags and move to my place tomorrow. In a couple days I’ll take you back to ‘Morgan’s Haunted Castle’ to meet the clan – the vampire clan.” This was the result of a hundred thoughts.
See, her worst fears had indeed happened! Riakum groaned helplessly, why were her hunches always so damn accurate? Especially the bad ones.
He half-smiled at her displeased look, “You’re not allowed to say no or give me a no, I’ll send someone to pick you up in a car tomorrow and that’s it.” Keith brashly made the decision for her.
“You ……” Riaxin wanted to retort him again, but I didn’t expect him to shrug her off and walk towards the balcony, quickly turning into a big bat and flying away, not even bothering to pay attention to her anymore.
“Damn it! You overbearing, uncaring, super-sized sandpig, you’d better fly halfway across the sky and hit a telephone pole!” Riaxin cursed out at the sky without any regard for her image and began to curse him in a bad way.
“What the hell are you up to?” Zhang Yuqing pointed at the large and arrogant luggage, “You don’t want to move in with me, do you?”
“I’m just borrowing the room for one night, less petty.” Riaoxin gave her a blank look, “I’ve already done the paperwork, I’m leaving the country tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow? You’ve gotten your visa?” Zhang Yuqing sat beside her and looked at her suspiciously.
“No, it’s too late, let’s get to a country that doesn’t require a visa first.” Riaxin was almost like a refugee on the run now. LOL! She was a homeless child.
“Running away from trouble ah you?” Zhang Yuqing asked incredulously.
“As you wish.” With that said, Ria-Shin dragged her bags straight to her best friend’s bedroom.
“Hey! Hello! Oi! Big sister, you’ve gone too far!”
“Lend me the room for one night, so I’m going to entrust you a little bit to sleep in the guest room.” Rong Xin stuffed the pillow and cool quilt into her best friend’s arms, shutting out Zhang Yu Qing’s face that wanted to dismantle her, then leaned back on the bed and couldn’t help but feel sorry for herself, alas! She was the poor child who was being chased by that evil spirit with nowhere to hide.
So, after seeing the sandpig bat off, she flew as fast as she could to pack her bags and flee her lovely nest to join her best friend, alas! What a sad fate for her!
Forget it! Don’t think so much, go to sleep, you can’t leave the country with panda eyes tomorrow, let’s wait for tomorrow to worry about tomorrow!
Ria Xin admitted that she was being watched, all the time, she had realized that she was being followed as soon as she entered Zhang Yuqing’s house with her luggage and had been followed for quite a long time, she just hadn’t realized it all along.
This morning, she excused herself for having something to do and insisted that Zhang Yuqing send her luggage out for her, and only then did she take advantage of Zhang Yuqing’s absence to turn into a bat and fly out, in order to prevent herself from being followed again when she went out.
She had thought everything was perfect, without a blemish, until she was stopped at the entrance to the international airport and realized how wrong she had been, because Keith had sent two shapeshifting “companions” to follow her in case she escaped with her shapeshifting.
Keith pulled her towards the parking lot, his face dark with embarrassment, and he didn’t open his mouth at all, as if she was obligated to explain herself to him in the first place.
“I have personal freedom and no one can restrict my movements.” Riaoxin said without fear as she looked at his iron face.
“You’re trying to walk away, woman.” Keith shoved her whole body into the car, “Johnny, drive back.” He coldly ordered toward the front seat.
“Yes.”
Damn it! She was actually escorted back by him! Riakshin stared at him dead in the face, but there was nothing she could do about it. She definitely wasn’t going to spend two months of her vacation on a battle of wits against this guy, she had to find a way to do that.
