Passive Voice - Chapter 2
“I went back to see Auntie last Saturday.” The man used his usual courteous tone, as if his status was that of a housekeeper or bellhop or something.
“Ah …… thank you so much.” Lu Yao freed one hand to eat the noodles.
A single man’s life would always be monotonous with the flavor of bubble noodles. It wasn’t that Lu Yao’s condition was bad. It’s just that women nowadays are just too realistic. If you don’t have a house or a car, you can just BYEBYE. In Lu Yao’s current condition, although his job was stable and his looks were loyal, the marriage schedule would almost have to be moved to after 35 to arrange it.
“Her health is a bit bad, it’s about the old house being too humid and having arthritis again. You’d better go back to see her when you have time. It’s been a long time since you’ve been home, too.” The man paused slightly, “Auntie misses you a lot.”
Lu Yao drank a mouthful of noodle soup and said vaguely, “En…… well, the final exams are coming up recently, I’ll go back as soon as my school work is over.”
“If it’s New Year’s Eve, buying a ticket will be troublesome, right? I’ll come to pick you up.”

Thinking back carefully. Lu Yao’s visual impression of Chu Zhi Han after adulthood was almost 0. There was only text and voice connection. It seemed to be more unreal than a netizen. Instead, Chu Zhi Han knew everything about him. From time to time, she made weather forecasts, and even visited his mother in his hometown in the countryside.
Sometimes Lu Yao himself wondered if Chu Zhi Han was his own imaginary friend. Sometimes even when talking on the phone ruthlessly pinch yourself twice.

But even the pain wasn’t very real.

But with the final exams approaching, Lu Yao’s life was basically in a state of being harassed and counter-harassed by female students, and being cajoled and counter-cajoled by female coworkers. He was the only male creature in his prime in a large group of sophomore teachers. And so it was only natural that it would be the only fun the sissies would have in their spare time.
This day it was hard to send away a few students who were persistent in asking questions. Lu Yao collapsed a half-serious face.
Lu Yao herself wasn’t the right personality to be a teacher. But after working for a few years. His sharpness had been worn down quite a bit. His personality had slowly settled down. But if you pretend to be strict,……, you will eventually feel very tired.
Walking to the school entrance Lu Yao yawned, then stretched a lazy waist. A 28 year old man wearing a suit to do such a thing is indeed a bit childish. But the good thing was that it was already dark. There wouldn’t be any attention.
The headlights that suddenly lit up made Lu Yao’s eyes shake for a moment. A little confused for a moment, she raised her hand to cover her eyes.
The car parked by the door slowly drove over and stopped beside Lu Yao. Then the window slowly rolled down. The blurry-faced man in the driver’s seat waved at him with a bit of a smile in his voice: “Lu Yao!”
Lu Yao came up to the car window and scrutinized it for half a day, then hesitantly opened his mouth, “Chu Zhi Han?”
