The Blind and the Deaf - Chapter 2

Mr. Miao’s Mr. Meow Bakery is located next to a massage club for the blind, on a less busy road. Mr. Miao is a good pastry chef and a generous businessman, often giving the dried bread corners to the children who live around him. Sometimes, after enjoying a massage in the club, customers would turn the corner and come to his store. Business has been good.
A while ago, Mr. Miao hired a young girl to look after the store, while he himself concentrated on the bakery. One of the reasons for his busy schedule is that Mr. Miao is not very accessible. He is deaf and mute. Even with a hearing aid, there are still times when he is inconvenienced.
In the past few days, Mr. Miao felt uncomfortable with his back. He has been in this business for several years. Every day, he kneads dough and beats milk froth while standing up, so his back really hurts after a long time. Let him sit down to work, sit down for a while, think it is not good, as usual, stand up again.
Alas, he was born to be a laborer. Mr. Miao thought to himself.
Mr. Miao felt good when he came out of the blind man’s massage clinic. He looked at the sign and silently wrote down the number 86. Don’t look at the young man at No. 86, he was skinny and small, like a half-grown baby, but the strength of his hands was still quite strong, and his acupoints were pressed accurately. Is the age is really too small, so small young man eyes can not see, Mr. Miao is still some feelings.
In fact, Mr. Miao was a bit uneasy when he came to the club for the first time, and he didn’t know how to put his hands and feet when he was lying over there. Besides, he didn’t even bring his hearing aid – he forgot it at home the morning before. Luckily, No. 86 was quite well-trained, massaging him step by step without being lazy at all.
When he saw the receptionist talking to him, he smiled and pointed to his ear, then waved his hand. The receptionist froze and pointed out the price to him. Mr. Miao paid the money, walked to the door, and saw that the membership card board in front of the clubhouse said that only card members have the benefits of a named masseur. There is also a discount.
Mr. Miao wasn’t one to spend money frivolously, but he occasionally felt like he should treat himself a little better. He looked down and thought for a moment, did some calculations, and then folded back into the store and got a card.
Two weeks later, Mr. Miao came back to the massage club. This time he brought along a piece of unsold strawberry cake.
